I called the number back and was put straight through to a person who greeted me with "Hello you're through to EE how can I help?". Straight off the bat this is unusual as there will be no official EE number that takes you straight through to a person without first making you go through five minutes of automated speech. I asked if they could stop calling, he didn't question me and said they'd stop. This number is NOT EE so please don't give them any details.
I don’t answer numbers I don’t know and generally feel if it’s that important, a voice mail will be left. A voice mail was left with this number but 21 seconds of silence...blocked!
keep getting call asking for my ee security password asking if I want add ons to account
EE's marketing partner number , i deliberately gave false info and they validated it as invalid and EE's website confirms as a genuine partner. Still no good deals though....
THIS IS A SAFE NUMBER AND NOT A SCAM, IT'S CLEARLY STATED ON THEIR WEBSITE, JUST TYPE IN 01462 IN THE SEARCH BOX AND CLICK ON DIRECT PARTNERS AND BOOOOOOOOM, WHAMMMMY. VERIFICATION PROCESS OVER, YOU HAVE NOTHING TO WORRY ABOUT SO ALL THOSE DOOM MONGERS CAN STFU
Rings me every few days. how do I stop it?
Called 4 times over the last two days, said they were EE. Asked me my details and I replied if they were EE then they should tell me! Today caller rapped at me?!
Does my head in they phone me too many times
This number called me saying it was 'EE'... Whether it was of not trying to sell IPad... He asked how much it was working out in the end? I said to my friend shouldn't he know that? .... Then when I said I haven't got time he just hung up?
10 missed calls a day
Several silent phone calls to mobile number
Keep getting a call from this number every day. Wee because of it when my contract runs out I will be changing from EE
Had call from this number yesterday claiming to be O2 and another call today which wasn’t answer.
Rang me to ask if I was getting extra charges on my EE plan, when I questioned it he got aggressive. Told him I'm happy with my plan and hung up.
Claiming to be EE. Needed me to give security details in order to be removed from the list. I didn't give them.
I've answer and on the other line was a guy how laught and hang up
Not sure who it is but agree it could be EE as my number is with them. Left no message.
Claimed to be ee, said id been on the website and he was there to make sure things go smoothly!?! Wanted details, said it was for dpa etc but just all sounded suspicious and unprofessional
Still calling me every day . . . . Poor people there on the phone, probably not even the armed forces accepted them or they couldn't find a cleaning job and now they have to sit in a call centre harassing unsuspecting citizens?
3 phone calls in one day from this number. Looking at the comments here and on EE's Facebook page it is an approved partner of EE. If I wanted to buy something from EE I would call myself not from a random person calling me
This number has called a few times and every time I answer they don't say anything but can hear background noise ! This number is now blocked as no one speaks
Couple of calls in the last two days. I didn't answer as no number recognition - glad to have checked this out.
They call me at least once a day for last few weeks, no one there when I answer
Annoying...calling home on Saturday morning, awhile everyone is still asleep. I just block it!
It's a call center offering discount mobile ad-ons! I got it for EE & most seam to report T-Mobile! Basically another parasite sales company - pretending to be official
Every day! this number rings me at 2 or 3pm, called T mobile and they said it is not their number, totally p#ssed off.
Missed call, presume it's a sales call or a wrong number as it called from England when I'm in Scotland...
01462439891 A fast talking, rude arrogant guy claiming to be from EE called yesterday and today and when I got him to admit he wasn't from EE he said he needed my security details to be removed from their list call list. What a joker.
Identified as ee. Was offering discount as i am loyal
Keeps rining my phone 4 times today ..but my samsung s8 says its t mobile ...but others on ere say ee ..i never answered was thinking it was a scam
It’s a telemarketing company (called Step Change) who work on behalf of a number of clients. Phoned me reference my EE contract. All they want to do is sell iPads with data, new phone upgrades, broadband. Put the phone down on them!
Unknown caller, pestilential
Guy said he was phoning from EE offering "deals" and wanted to know what my last bill was! I established that he is subcontracted to EE and advised I would be giving him no information. He said I was a customer but I pointed out that I am not his customer! Told him to delete my number and not call me back!
Keep getting calls from these people and noone on the end of the line.
It's not directly from EE but from 1 of their Direct partners , Step Change.
I have received numerous calls from this company. One of which was at 7:30am on a Saturday morning. Find it hard to believe this is a legitimate call from EE at this time.
Answered call and could hear a call centre in the background. Caller hung up without speaking to me, I find that annoying and rude. Oh well another one for the call block list!
Have called 3 times today. After reading the other posts on this page I will block the number. Harassing!
It's a sub-team from EE, so is genuine, but still harassing. Only just joined EE, first call was to make sure I was happy with everything, which seemed a little weird, but the guy went away after a short, polite conversation. Another guy called two days later me to ask the exact same questions. I told him they'd already asked me all this, at which point he seemed to feigned confusion and got a bit rude, talking over me, so I hung up & blocked the number. Already had several missed calls previously, no messages. Not sure why this exists, seems an entirely pointless service & makes me wonder if I will regret joining EE!
This number has rang my pone constantly for the past couple of weeks - when answered on one occasion no one answers so didn't answer again
Called me, asked me what network provider I am with yet when they ask for 1st and 3rd letters of my password they tell me they are incorrect, would have thought they would know what provider I'm with if they supposedly know my account details which they clearly don't as the characters I gave them were the correct characters for my password then they ask me what I get up to on my phone and what I use my phone for. What sort of legit company asks that? Anyway I've blocked them and will be giving this number to my mother so she can block it as well
If you id**ts spend two minutes and type the area code into the EE website you will see this is an EE number. Offers and discounts on additional Phones/tablets etc
Fed up with several calls a day. It's T-Mobile trying a hard sell. I said I'm already with them and the guy got all shirty when I said I was happy with the package I've got, so much so that I'm thinking of cancelling with them all together. If I wanted to change my contract then I'd ring them.
phoned today at 12:32, man on the phone, he shouted "blue, we wear blue" and hung up, very random.
terrible, called me three times despite each time being polite and told them that i had no time to take the call, after which the guy got a bit rude and said "what? you don't have 2 minutes to take the call?!?". blacklisted the number.
2 to 3 times a day rather annoying I do not answer unknown numbers how do they get you're number if it's listed private!!reading these remarks I am glad I didn't answer
Was called by these people today they claimed to be from e.e When didn't give them any information they got very aggressive so just hang up. I rang e.e and they said straight away to block there number was not them. Please do the same if your reading this message.
Keeps calling if they want to talk to me that badly then leave me a message or send me a text if not bugger off and leave me alone.
There you go, boom.... 100% legit. Now maybe you should hear them out, they saved me £25 on my bill because I was going over data, thank you EE. Go on EE's website, search bar, type in '01462' and done. It's sales partners.
This number is hounding me whether on my mob or landlines. Each time they say they are EE. I have asked them a number of times not to call and I needed anything I would call them. They aren't that polite and the back ground noise is awful. I work for an inbound call centre which is VERY busy and you can't hear any background noise from any of the agents. EE your agents are just about as bad as your loyalty services. Get it sorted so you don't sound so dodgy to us
Just checked this out after this number left me another missed call, again! And yes I'm on Tmobile. I refuse to talk to them as they are so absolutly useless when dealing with my queries and complaints. A year on and still resolution, they asked for certain paperwork so I could cancel my contract early but a year on I'm still with them and can't get out of it. So Tmobile, stop calling us to sell! Treat your customers properly! And instead of ringin me sort out my issue! Surely you have received my recent complaint but again ignored it.
I received all call today from this number claiming to be EE, stating they have a good deal for me and my family when the chap asked for my name and details.. I politely informed him if I wanted anything from EE I would contact them self. Some of the comments on here are ridiculous one stating people are uneducated, I think you will find it's called people being cautious about handing their serials over willy nilly! Hopefully this person who claims people are uneducated doesn't fall victim to a scam as they seem eager to give their details over!
Please block this no. 01462439891 from my mobile 07572862391 & my land line 02085568297 thanks
Call me constantly, I ignore the calls but keep calling me, I answered one and they started the conversation saying "you have an account with us" I said no and hung up.
It's EE and they just say that they will call back later
I have just changed phone provider to EE, I'm pretty sure this is just a follow up call to see if you are happy with the service you have received.
I had a call from this number today. It was AWFUL! Before I could even pick up my phone, it started making a HORRIBLE noise! It scared me, so I ran away, and only returned when it stopped. Afterwards I changed my ringtone. I never want to go through that again!
My mum received a call from this number. The agents name was James Noble and she said she was pushed into a corner and sold an Ipad. She doesn't know what an iPad is and made this clear. ALL of her calls on her phone are recorded as i installed an app to prevent fraudulent telephone calls. He was extremely pushy and didn't take no for an answer. The background noise is that of a packed football stadium. I am returning the Ipad as soon as it arrives and am taking legal action against EE or the agent James Noble. My mum is an elderly lady and its clear in the call she did not know what she was buying and he pushed and pushed until she couldn't say no. DO NOT buy from this number. I have contacted EE and it is a legitimate sales number (god knows how) Once my mums contract has ended we are all leaving EE and i hope the justice system will get this scandalous company or agent shut down.
Called me while I was driving home. Was on hands-free and told the guy I didn't want to talk as I was driving and the call me later. Actually said to me to pull over so we could talk told him no and the guy got pissy and said 'oh well it's your loss it wasn't even a sales call but now you will never find out' f**king ignorant d**khead
Not sure who they were but didn't leave a message. I did speak to EE last week on something else so do you think this is a surveyor asking about the service quality?
sales call. - ignore. 01462439891
I called EE to ask about broadband with them - I did not leave a number but called from this phone line. I have had three phone calls from this number in the last few days. I am coming to make a formal complaint about them harassing marketing without consent under GDPR and PECR. If you did not OPT IN to marketing they are breaking the law by contacting you - complain loudly to the ICO.
rang EE to check this was legit and it is
CALLING EVERY DAY PLEASE GET LOST LOL
Sick of their repeated calls.
This is not EE I am not even on that network, scam call!!
Had a few missed calls from this number they phoned me again today so I answered the call. The guy was ok on the phone but I have read every where else that this isn't the case with other members. He went on to ask me about how much I spend a month on my phone as I am payasyougo told him ten pound he then said about unlimited sim deals at 20 pounds I agreed he then put his manger on the phone to read me the T&C's then send they will send me information out in the post never gave any details nor did they ask.
COMPLETE SCAM - CLAIM TO BE EE BUT A QUICK CALL THROUGH 150 CONFIRM THEY ARE NOT AND IS A SPAM CALL
They ring me everyday in the early afternoon 2 or 3 times
Partner of EE called Step Change. Not them directly but is them via a outsourcing company. The EE website lists them as partners.
No one on other end of rhone...nuisance call....
s*cm.. worse than sh*t on a shoe, nothing better to do.. called & hanged up after 10 seconds.. definitely a call centre
This number calls me everyday, nobody speaks when I answer but they continue to stay on the line. It's getting rather annoying and I am not sure how to stop it.
Constant calls received most days. have now blacklisted
People have claimed in below comments that this is EE, however the person calling me from this number used my old name and not the name I have taken pains to change with EE. I have emailed EE customer relations to check but my current suspicion is that these people are not associated with EE.
Repeated calls from this unknown number, no message, now blocked.
Claim to be EE but they are not.
They are had selling
Comment from ee: I don't recognise that number as our calls usually come from 0800 numbers. It is not EE.
called by this number. left no message. now blocked
Having read comments, I have blocked this number. However, I'd sooner speak to these callers that read some of the foul language some comments include. Really no need for it, just block or ignore.
Call me twice every day for the past three days claiming to be from EE and asking me about my contract with them. I'm not even with EE? I've asked them to stop calling me to no avail. I have blocked their number
T-mobile very pushy and very rude sales person. Very annoying. Type of person who uses your first name every second word he pronounces and when you tell him you're not interested, he keeps asking why, but why, but why can't you tell him why. Sooo annoyed with him! Going to complain to T-mobile. I wonder if that gives any results.
Very pushy sales person talked over me and would not listen when I said I wasn't interested. If these calls persist I will cancel my EE contract.
This number has rang my pone constantly for the past pipe of weeks - when answered on one occasion no one answers so didn't answer again
DON'T LOOK AT ANY OTHER COMMENTS. I called EE on 150 and went straight through to their tech department to see if the number is legitimately EE or a partner of EE; I was told "This number wouldn't be EE, we haven't called you in over a month". THIS NUMBER REALLY IS FAKE. ANY COMMENTS WHICH ARE MARKING THIS NUMBER AS SAFE ARE PROBABLY THE SCAMMERS THEMSELVES.
Just received call from this number and was told to check it out as I wasn't happy giving my details. Was still reading these posts when they called back as they said they would. Spoke to a bright and cheerful Lisa. She was polite and took my "thanks but no thanks" without a problem. Did seem as if she was from EE but I didn't want to buy anything.
Do not answer. Claim the are from EE, however, my sister works for EE and she has told me that EE are not allowed to call customers
SCAM... and these people making safe comments are just the scammers who work there hahahaha makes you laugh! get a real job
Completely safe and sound, security questions get asked for Dpa , I agree with the annoying calls but they actually had relevant products and there is no sort of scam involved if you don't want the products you just say you're not interested. If they're rude then they are going about there job completely wrong. EE must let them do some of there sales. Work
keep calling and asking for details, they say they are EE. So i called 150 and talked to technical support, they confirmed it is NOT EE and passed the number to their fraud team. If this happens to you call EE directly, immediately, give these people nothing.
Didn't answer it. Added to block list.
supposedly EE selling ad-ons pain in the butt!!
Checked with EE and it turns out that it is one of their service providers and is safe. I complained about the abrupt and pushy nature of the caller and the fact that he sounded like a scam and that in future I won't answer the number
Annoying people don't answer! blocked now
No-one speaks when I pick up the phone from this number. Really annoying.
get a call from this number every few days, always silence on the other end....
Currently abroad, cost me £1.50 to answer it... nice one!! An expensive nuisance!
Somebody called from this no when i said hello no response.
This number tried to get hold of me today, I do not answer unknown callers, if its urgent they will leave a message. Looks like they are p*stering lots of people today added to auto reject list.
Marketing company purporting to be EE with some nonsense "loyalty" reward. Basically wanting to upsell something. Caller blocked. Nonsense
I got a call from this number, I said hello once, and there was a second of background call centre noise and they hung up. Thanks to the previous comment who advised putting the number into EE's website's search bar, and it came up with a list of EE's direct partners and associated phone numbers. This particular number is for Step Change. The people who claim this is a scam are paranoid and uneducated. Companies have to introduce products and make sales somehow. I worked in a call centre before as part of a market research firm, so I get it. Not every call from a company is a scam. From past experiences EE have never called me up for feedback, they ask for it via text messaging, so this is clearly a sales call, but it's sure as anything not a scam nor is it dangerous.
called me 2 days ago and left no message - I never answer unknown numbers and if they don't leave a message, clearly it's spam
Don't know this number so didn't answer it. Left no message so I thought can't be of any importance, now blocked it.
Call claiming to be EE. Asking me security questions like characters of password, what handset I have etc etc right off the bat. Told him, no chance mate... and hung up on him
+441462439891 Fake guys, 150 EE people told me so. Knew my contract holders name but got aggressive when I demanded he told me her surname. "THE ACCOUNT HOLDER FOR THIS ACCOUNT!!" "Account in what?" "Oh yeah, shit. EE" F**k off mate
Calls at least three times a day!! i don't answer it. i now have 01425462790 doing the same......sooooo annoying.
f**k OFF THEY ARE WANKERS AND DESERVE TO BE CALLED SO END OF
Calls every day, sometimes two or three times a day. No one there when I answer. This is plain harassment and shouldn't be allowed. Have registered with TPS to see if that helps but it apparently takes time to have an effect.
The number is a legitimate EE number but they keep on calling me asking if I would like to take out a new contract even though I'm a payg customer. I have asked numerous times to remove my number from their call list. If you get a call from the number then block it .
This person phoned me saying I had contact with EE concerning calls I had with them, he wanted to sell me a different plan to the one I already have he asked for my password I gave him the wrong one but he said it was correct. watch him he is a scam
Might be genuine but they keep leaving voice mails that are silent, I am with EE but concerned they feel it’s ok to leave me silent voice mails...creepy if you ask me.
I had a call from this number! Didn't answer as I didn't recognise the number. But by the looks of all these comments it's a scam
keep calling me ,man might have to go tell den wagwan still da pagans .shout out ee doe keepin it real
Keep getting missed calls from these lot ........So annoying , no voicemail ever gets left! Have recently took out a contract from T MOBILE and judging by other peoples comments they are prob trying to sell me another !!!!
Claimed to be EE saying they were from EE but on a number I don't recognise saying they wanted to check out my account to see if there was any way to help out me or my family. Asked me to confirm my name etc at which point I decided to leave. Multiple weird signals, didn't like it. I don't care if they're some kind of sales partner, they're straight up doing it wrong because they look too much like a scam for me to be comfortable.
A call every day - and no one there - annoying
Call received a.m. And p.m. On my mobile but each time it stopped ringing by the time I picked it up. I am registered with the TPS and I will report the number to them of the calls received.
call me daily for no apparent reason
Asked me for some (no all) of my passcode details... & sounded surprised when I said NO! then asked me Why not? So I reminded her what she'd just said & the answer is Still NO!
phoned but no reply when answered
Claiming to be EE, knew it wasnt. Just kept saying my name was Ben Jones and i'm with vodaphone and they eventually hung up.
Calimed to be EE, i just said "You cant fight a crowbar" and they hung up
The best way to stop this is to block the number!
I've had 2 missed calls from this phone number in the last week with no voicemail messages left?
EE marketing. Now blocked
Claims to be EE and asked me for personal details. HUNG UP IMMEDIATELY
Why don't they leave a message then to say who it is, instead of calling twice every day!!!!!
Called today but didn't answer... glad I was busy going by the comments.
It's a direct sales partner "Step Change", 100% affiliated with EE.
Got a call that woke me up, friendly guy saying he was from EE. He apologised for waking me up, asked how I was getting on with my phone, I said I had no problems. He said to continue he needed name and password. I couldnt remember my pass so he asked some questions (which were not worrying at all). He focused on my data usage, a couple of times in the past I had gone over, and had a big bill once or twice - he was aware exactly how much I had spent on these bills. He offered a product that could potentially halve these bills if it happened again. When I said these bills were accidental as I was stupid and unaware of my limit, I am now just more careful with my phone, he said that was fine and not to worry, wished me a good sleep and ended the convo. Harmless, friendly, safe.
Just called me asking for name and password. Told them I didn't know and I got called a 'useless waste of time customer' and a 'complete c**t' thanks EE ????
I was very suspicious. Geezer on the phone said that EE has closed all it's call center's and were now using 4 different external companies to handle all its calls. Didn't fancy it myself. Fella was nice enough but wasn't interested.
They say they are from ee I can tell you the area not from eek at all
Called and said nothing, just a lot of background noise, then hung up. I'm with the TPS so I'll be reporting this unsolicited call
Said that they were EE but just wanted me to buy a table with dater £21
Pushy bloke rang and said my son was going over his data limit. Told me I had paid a large amount on last Bill, but I read my bank statements and know it wasn't . Got rid of him eventually, but he was complete tosser. Avoid this company, they are not EE, they are supposedly selling on their behalf. EE should get rid of them.
I know it's an EE affiliation but very rude, kept phoning then hanging up, quite aggressive. Once phoned and I said "Hello?" and the woman just said "Address" in a demanding tone. I certainly wouldn't trust them. Just because they're affiliated to the phone company I'm with doesn't mean I'll not be putting them on a block list. Maybe EE should be more careful with their sales partners and with my info. Does not put them in a good light that they trust such a number with customer service.
Said they were from EE with "some good news for a loyal customer". He spoke almost too quickly to understand, wouldn't even give a vague idea of what the good news was without receiving my security info - which i didnt give. He hung up abruptly as I started to say I wasn't interested. Whether they are legit or not I dont know, but based on my brief conversation with them block the number. Dont even give the time of day to this company - there are other companies out there who are a pleasure to deal with.
Regularly calling, normally not convenient to answer, won't bother answering either now!
Asked to go through my EE security questions to give feedback when they rung me? No thanks, likely scammers
Didn't answer but checked EE website to see if genuine. It is listed as genuine, but I don't care about what offers you have to sell me. I'm broke, leave me alone.
Genuine EE number. You can the check the area code on ee.co.uk. Offering discounted mobile/tablet/broadband packages. Worked in a call centre before. The questions they ask are for security to protect your account. Didn't need anything at the time but was happy to hear the offers that were available to me.
01462439891 this number called me and claimed to be from EE and knew all my private security information do not give them information just hang up and report this number has its a scam.
This is EE marketing..supposed "loyalty" offers.
It's EE. Completely safe called me after my upgrade to see how I was getting on
This is Step Change a partner of EE, see partners' links on their webpage.
I never answer a number unless I know it, then straight to this site to check. I will be blocking this. Why waste my time listening to deals I didn't realise i wanted! Oh and after providing personal details and password? No thanks.
IT IS EE...............I rang EE a day ago about my broadband and the problem was resolved. Today I had a call from this number and did not answer it. I checked here to see who it was, and after reading so many conflicting answers, I rang EE from my mobile 150 number and they confirmed that it IS one of there numbers that they use to follow up and make sure my problem was resolved.
Called 150 and ee confirm this isn't one of their numbers and that the only time they would call a customer is when it has been a pre arranged call back
called me today at 15.35. i didnt answer as its not on my list of known callers . i nave read comments. and i have been orange now ee for many years. ive never been called . i made my preferences to be texts or e mails. . i am going to block this number. i dont believe they are officially EE. from what i have read
Ee but NOT EE!!!
Rang me 5 times today. First time no response when I answered ignored the rest while out and have now blocked the number on returning home.
it is a scammer
Says they're EE but I've just rang 150 and they have no trace. Offering 10% discount. She asked what my recent question was about and I said if you are from EE surely you are looking at a record from my recent conversation? She said yes but can't discuss it till I answer the data protection questions which I refused. When I said if I need EE I will ring 150 and she got very pushy. Said her name was holly and I couldn't get the discount in the 150 number. Don't fall for it guys they are not EE
Contacted EE customer services. They have confirmed that this is not a number associated with EE.
The number is EE's direct partner called Step Change - who are there to discuss products and services. They called but I didn't make it to the phone in time, so I researched it. Then tweeted EE to check. Harmless as far as EE goes.
01462 439891 Don't not answer guys called me several times I answered once and they HANG up now it's in my blocked list for ever .
EE Marketing. Rings every few months to try and offer you deals etc...
Dog shit in the tread of your bmx bike tyres in the 80s,picking it out with a twig, remember? It was everywhere, even treading in it walking down the shops then going out in yer Dads brand new car and only realising it’s on the bottom of yer shoe after that dog shit stench started circulating the car and that look on yer dads face, seems that dog shit is still around these days with these disgusting vermin trying to steal and rip off the innocent hard working humans of this world.Bag up this shit and dump it in the dog shit bin just where the shit belongs
Annoying, phones same time most days and leaves no message
Had another call from this number asking a bout my washing machine, its the 3rd time I have had these calls, they put the phone down before you can ask who they are. Also it has been from a different number every time so blocking the number is'nt helping .......... angry
Number does not appear in EE search
I checked with my daughter who works for EE. Its the EE sales team who were actually decent and helped me save money. The sales guy was really helpful. Stop writing mean comments about them.
pain in the arse
So many calls same company has different numbers won't stop ringing keep blocking they are not getting any thing from me bloody call centres get a real job stop harassing people no means no listen
Rang me and as soon as I picked up noone spoke don't know who they are but very annoying!
Claiming to be EE and to have "good news about my account" - the first thing they did was ask me to confirm address details on my account. I asked them why I should give that to them because how am I supposed to know that they are who they say they are, and he just said forget it I just won't tell you the good news. Then he hung up!
Well......I've been rung by these folk and as nice as they were offering a great deal yesterday,I declined but today I thought that's a really good deal. Rang this number back no reply, then rang EE who took the number and I was told by them it's a scam, that's off EE themselves on the guaranteed 150 number.....somebody is very mistaken somewhere,be very cautious!!!!!
Keep calling don't answer but they don't leave a message
FAKE!!! Called EE and isn't them!
not from EE.. rude and annoying
I have been harassed by these people. Like someone else said, quite often you can't hear the person on the phone over the laughter in the background. They claimed to be calling on behalf of EE to tell me I was due for an upgrade. Not only was I not due for an upgrade but when I questioned the person they admitted they don't actually work for EE but had bought my details and were trying to sell me one of their contracts. I had asked them to stop calling me, which they did for about two months. Although recently they have started to ring me several times a day again. Normally just hanging up if I answer.
I said hello a bunch of times, heard nothing but background noise and then they hung up. Blocked their number now.
This number called me today claiming that they were from ee and would like to discuss about my contract that i did some changes acouple days ago and settled everything with the REAL customer service.the guy in the phone talked with a very unprofessional way trying to convince me that he wast from ee, upon asking him if he was really from the customer service or a kind of stupid fraud. After having some stupid conversation with him, i just said i will hung up then heard a half-angry half disappointed voice in the line "okaayy good byee" never answer this stupid number as they are totally scams. If this stupids were a little bit smart, then they were spending their time and effort in saving their lives with dignity!
Just called, cut off call and blocked
Oh God have I been scammed? Seemed all legit but now reading these comments ?! I didn’t give any card or money details only my work address. Or will I be charged for the phone call time - 10 minutes !
Claimed to be ee and said they had a special deal until 12am and if I manage to take the deal before 7pm they will give me £200 cash I don’t belive this for one minute why would a company try to give money away but want your money for your bill for the month doesn’t make sense definitely wasn’t ee
Call centre from noise in background. Said hello 3 times, then cut off
don,t worries about this no this is just EE sales department and upgrade .So it,s safe
If I could of had the same chat, face to face like I had on the phone, the pr*ck would be still on the floor now......
5 calls today on my mobile and one rude message on my home number a girl making fun of the answerphone message and calling me a snobby b**ch
Called me multiple times this month but never answered. Finally picked up the phone and told them to take me off the calling list. Was told to call 150 to opt out of marketing calls. What a farse.. EE giving me more reasons to leave them completely. Number blocked.
so ive recently set up a contract with EE through these guys everything went well however they failed to point out they were an FCA regulated company, They also opted me in to international calls which i did not want or did not even know about which made my phone bill go from £45.99 to £104.79 I rang EE told them i worked for an FCA regulated company and that i would take it further if needed they have refunded the money that was added to my bill, James From this outsourcing company (i believe to be called Astute) has now called me offering products in an attempt to up sell i mentioned the additional cost and did not receive any clarification, if you want a contract phone go in store do not do it over the phone!!
called for the 3rd time in one week!
Who ate these c*nts ?
This is a genuine phone number from one of Direct Partners to sell EE products
I answered the call, it sounded like a call centre from the noise in the background. I said 'Hello?' a couple of times and they hung up.
unsolicited call left no message.
Called me and did not speak then hung up after about 30 seconds, Tried to call back and got no response.
I received a call from this number today at work. I didn't answer it as I'm a busy little bunny. This comment is therefore worthless.
s*cmbags Do not answer and add them to your blocked list Scam, Scam, Scam!
I have contacted EE and it is a legitimate sales number!
EE marketing, call every couple of months just to make me aware of what offers are available to me, quite happy to receive these calls as it shows that even if you're not interested in purchasing anything it's good to know what's out there. Can see a lot of people being frustrated and angry with the way the call centre operatives are pushy with making a deal, but that's just their job, just say calmly you're not interested and hang up.
To those saying this is legit, I disagree. Rang EE afterwards and they did not recognise the number telling me to block it. She said she was unsure it would be sales as I am not close to an upgrade so seemed suspicious. Claimed could see I had over spent on my date when this was not the case, asked for passwords and such.
Guy called me acting really friendly like we were friends. He told me he was calling from EE and would like to offer me special deals because I was a long time customer. I was fooled, it sounded really legit. Became suspicious when he didn't know what an iPad was. Do not give contact details, they are not EE.
These people claim to be EE. They have called me multiple times at 5am, despite me asking them to wait a month till I'm back in UK. Just makes me want to leave EE.
I blocked this number on my mobile some time ago, but they've come up on the blocked list twice this week. Hopefully someone who has recorded the conversations will forward them. However, I believe you are not supposed to record telephone conversations without all parties being made aware, so be careful. See 'privacy notice' under Data Protection etc. But perhaps a OGM such as "All callers are recorded and monitored for security..." etc would be enough to put them off - at least in some cases? Next time they call, try to offer them something - sell to them. Make an offer for those wishing to be whistleblowers or something!? Or just block their number and forget them.
Claimed to be EE and when I queried why it had come up as a random number they sent me a text that came us as being from EE to confirm it was them. Was trying to get me to buy broadband or a tablet from them, not saying it was a safe call but was reasonable when I said no thank you.
Company is 'Step Change Outsourcing'. Give 'em hell boys!
This number is a genuine company affiliated with ee as i work for them i should know that the number is safe.
Silent call. I did answer and said hello but got no response. I am an EE customer but normally don’t get this response when answering their ‘cold calls’.
I don't like this call. Don't repeat again. My number 07565350271.
Scammers block this number
left a silent voicemail.
Potential scam. Very pushy unpleasant people, they don't listen, just want to get your password (for potentially committing fraud?)
Claimed to be ee, asked me for the 1st and second digit of my password then asked me what my password was??? Very suspicious call!..
I didn't recognise the number so i didn't answer it. I assume it's one of those phone calls that are trying to sell you something, but judging by the comments on here, they're practically harrassers.
This number isnt EE, EE will confirm that if you check with them. They say its a partner company, this means its a third party company who call EE customers saying they are EE, but also call users from other phone net providers saying they are from those companies too.
I’ve had this number and a numerous of different numbers calling once every day so far and I have blocked them all, be careful because if you answer and they get a connection they could hack your phone as a mate of mine had it done and they took money from there accounts.
Called 3 times in the last few hours. Annoying, no message left.
They call 3 times a day! Ive blocked it but can still see in my blocked calls list when they call. Who after being obviously blocked would continue to call 3 times a day for the last 4 months? These people are not only doing something illegal but they are also morons
0146243891 keeps calling me so I reject the call as I don't have it in my phone. It's just very annoying.
If the id**t from the 25 November had half a brain cell he'd know they're a third party pretending to be from EE selling shit no one wants.
Makes me laugh the people that think this is a scam it's what company's do call there customers and offer deals for future reference if your ever in doubt get the caller to tell you some information it's not hard and the broadband and mobile departments are separate so they will not have information for the other department does not make it a scam
Received call but didn’t answer
I have just dialed the number back and APPARENTLY it is EE. A recorded voice answers and tells you to re-dial the number or press one but I didn't press a number and just hung on instead and someone answered and I told her to take me off the calling list... let's see if it works though
O2. Annoying! Trying to get me to take out a sim contract. They don't give up I told them a couple of months ago that I wasn't interested but they obviously don't get the message!
DO NOT buy from this number.
some spastic c*nt trying to get me to give up personal details so i told him to go home and f*ck his who*e wife up the arse
